Hello Annie Mack here. This is the new podcast and the reason why it exists is because I can't

remember anything I seem to have lost huge swaths of my life it stressed me out to the point where I went and spoke to a memory

expert and she said I had to quiz my family and friends and get them to share their

memories of my life with me so that I can relive my life so I can remember.

Every episode of this podcast begins with one of their memories.

For this week's memory we are heading to the White Isle,

Party Island of Abitha,

circa about 2006.

I think the one memory that stands out is the first time that you were booked to play in a betha and it was at amnesia,

wasn't it, on the terrace and I went out there with you and we kind of came to the DJ booth and stopped and you kind of looked

at me and I looked back at you and you were like okay so

so where's the terrace where am I playing and I was like here we are any this is

it this is the terrace and your face just dropped and your eyes went really, really wide

and I kind of looked back at you and I kind of realized actually that this was a massive gig and

I hadn't really kind of thought about it from that kind of context because you hadn't really

been DJing at this level for very long at that stage. But you smashed it, like you went on and you got

through it and you kept your head down and played great records and then all our friends arrived and we had a dance.

Of all the places I'd seen you play I think it was probably you kind of coming of age a little bit at that point in your career and yeah a really

amazing gig to watch but like I will never forget the look on your face when I was

like this is the Terrace oh God Oh God. One of the most terrifying moments of my DJ career.
