Welcome to our Rosedary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

I've never seen anyone who's totally and in all ways perfectly happy.

Did you ever know anyone who was totally

and in always satisfied by the beauty, truth,

and health in their lives?

How about someone who had achieved absolutely everything they wanted,

who had no strained relationships, who felt as though they had God and were on exactly the same page.

No, me neither.

The fact is that this life doesn't offer enough

to fill our hunger for happiness.

We have an infinite desire, but the world can only provide a finite satisfaction. That's why so many despair. They see the

disproportion between what we want and what we can get. In fact many of the great atheistic philosophers were deeply despondent because they could

perceive the inability of earthly things to fulfill the human person and because they believed in nothing greater than this world.

The fact is that this life doesn't offer enough to fill our hunger for happiness. Why is that? Because the only thing

that will satisfy us is beyond what this world can give. The only thing that can satisfy us ultimately is God.

Our Father who art in heaven, hollow it be your name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not

to temptation but deliver us from evil men.

They all Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
