There's been an over-identification with the masculine for so many years.

And I was raised in that culture.

I mean, I started taking women studies.

I wrote my first paper in grade two on women in World War II because I was a little feminist, right?

And I just had this strong feeling that I wanted to tell that story.

I wanted to tell that side of the story.

And so for women now, you know,

I think it's really good to check out through one's own creative process or reading the book.

It's like, where do you over-identify with the masculine? And how does that affect the thinking?

And where does it present limiting thoughts where you say to yourself,

I could never do that? I could never be that successful. I'm never going to make enough money.

I have to stay in this relationship because I won't survive on my own. Like all these things, right?

And that is the question that, you know, I really, as I was writing this book and still, I'm like, okay, where are my feeding systems today that I actually don't believe in?
