Hello and thanks for joining me on Radio Headspace. It's Eve here and it's Tuesday.

0:26.1

I want to continue the conversation from yesterday's episode.

0:31.5

So although I teach people every day how to meditate and to practice mindfulness, I understand

0:39.2

that it won't necessarily be for everyone, but more than that, that there are many other

0:44.5

resources and ways in which you can take care of your mental health. And I'll share what

2:02.3

Of course, big life events can also play havoc on our sleep. You know, since my mum died a few

2:09.5

months ago, my sleep has not been as good as it normally is. But I know over time this will pass.

2:16.1

But for now, I'm trying to be as gentle as possible and actually use some of the advice I mentioned.

2:24.4

Next is mindful movement. There is no denying that we are so much more sedentary than we used to be.

2:32.8

When I lived in London, I used to cycle everywhere, even in the rain. But since moving to LA,

2:40.0

I have to make a much more conscious effort to get out there on my bike. But when I do, I'm

2:45.1

reminded how much I love it. It's well documented that regular physical movement not only helps us
