So it's really an astounding document because for the first time in American history, a former

president is being prosecuted by a political opponent who wields the power of the criminal

justice system for what he believed in and the policies and the political speech that

he carried out as president.

That's John Loro who's Trump's lead attorney on this indictment and there aren't many

people disagreeing with him, honestly, which is somewhat surprising.

Here are the two polar ends of this, which tends to be where a lot of our conversation goes

in America.

First woman, O Rashida Talib tweeted out, we must never forget how fragile our democracy

is and how important it is that we protect it.

Donald Trump must be held accountable for conspiring to overturn an election the American

people deserve justice from a violent, fascist insurrection.

Okay, I actually agreed with like her first phrase that was pretty good, but then it got

more unhinged as it went.

Then on the other end, Stephen Miller, we, for our nation, justice is dead in its place

raw authoritarian persecution.

We have a chance to revive it 2024.
