Let's get into the Word of God.

On Sunday mornings, we're going through 1 Corinthians,

chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

Last week we completed chapter 9.

Today we'll pick it up in chapter 10,

and we'll get from verses 1 through to verse 4.

So if you're able, I'll ask you to stand.

You can follow along with me as I read.

If not, that's all right.

Beginning in verse one,

the Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit writes,

for I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters,

that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all

passed through the sea. They were all, verse 2, baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.

They all, verse 3, ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual

drink, for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

Let's pray.

Loving Heavenly Father, would you settle us and quiet and calm us by your Holy Spirit that we might hear very clearly what it is that you desire

to speak into our lives through your word. Lord that's why we're here. We want to hear you speak in that still,

small, refining voice of the Holy Spirit. And Lord, when you do, we want to heed that which we hear.

So, Lord, will you speak? Your servants are listening. In Jesus' name. Amen.
