Hi, my name is Pete Cazaro. I want to welcome you today to the emotionally healthy leader

podcast. Great to be with you. Today I want to share with you a message called Disorientation

and the Plan of God. Actually, this topic comes out of one of my favorite passages of Scripture

about disorientation and the plan of God from Isaiah chapter 43. And it reads like this,

do not fear, for I've redeemed you. I've summoned you by name, you are mine. And when you pass

through the waters, I believe with you. When you pass it through the rivers, they will not sweep over

you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. the flames will not set you ablaze and then it goes

on saying forget the former things don't dwell in the past see i am doing a new thing now it

springs up do you not perceive it and this message actually is based uh on the three uh classic movements

of the spiritual life orientation disorientorientation, and reorientation.

As we're in a midst of so much disorientation right now and looks like we will be in there

for quite a while, I'm talking about not just COVID-19, not simply the racial injustice

issue, not simply the economic collapse we're experiencing

globally.

But it's just disorientation from, you know, things like brain tumors and cancers and

divorces and pains and marriages and breakups and adulteries and just job and financial

loss or children hospitalized or innocence lost

or miscarriages, infertility, wayward children. The list goes on when God just feels distant

and we're seeing external events or internal events destroy families or lives. And sometimes we bring in

ourselves. Sometimes it happens to us.

Lots of disorientation is happening to us right now. But the problem of suffering and evil is

it's a big one. But we do know this. And this message is going to talk about what happens.
