are into close to school starting down here in Tennessee. We've got another week before the kids

are back on the bus and it's kind of crazy. Joy is all about school bus school until I asked her

the other day and she's like, no, maybe just the pool. I know. Well, we were at a friend's house

that has a boat and so we were going out on the lake and it was so much fun and the kids

always love the lake and Kate and Joy on the tube with me. I get bounced around though. I don't

guess I'm getting old. It's like I don't like the bounce. It's too much. But we did wake surfing

Every year gets a little easier. But the point is vacations also create incredible conversation times

and for us with our kids. I feel like even this whole marriage and parenting series has helped us

goes back to college. Kennedy and Kate enjoy back in school. And so it's so important to take advantage

of it. And that's been happening for us. And the topic we're talking about today is discipleship.

Right. And I feel like that happens as you're going. Right. As you're on a boat. As you're going

to bed at night, as you're having dinners and just being around each other, I think you notice

you notice everything, you know, sometimes in the busy of the school year, the pace is a little too

fast and you miss things. And this summer, both of us, we were heightened, heightened awareness of,
