of the text today coming from the 26th chapter of the book of Genesis verses 12 through 18 in the new

living translation of the scripture you'll notice there these words when Isaac planted his crops that

year he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted.

For the Lord blessed him.

This is just to let you know that your life can significantly change by one season that God blesses you exceptionally.

And notice he became a very rich man and his wealth continued to grow. And he acquired so many flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and servants that the Philistines became jealous of

him. So the Philistines filled up all of Isaac's wells with dirt.

This is just to prove to you that people will do dirty things to you

and say dirty things about you when they are jealous of you.

These were the wells that had been dug by the servants of his father, Abraham.

And finally, Abimelech ordered Isaac to leave the country.

Go somewhere else, he said, for you have become too powerful for us.

This reminds us of the principle that growth demands a new environment.

So Isaac moved away to the Garar Valley where he had set up their tents and settled down.

And he reopened the wells his father had dug, which the Philistines had filled in after Abraham's death.

Isaac also restored the names Abraham had given to them.

So we speak today simply from the subject, dig, dig, dig.

It is interesting to note that the only place that you start off on top in life is when you're digging a hole. Can you imagine that? You start off on top, but you're digging a hole.

You got to start somewhere.

And the best place, the most reasonable place to start, is where you are.

Just start where you are with the dirt underneath your feet and start digging what is it that you need to re-dig that somebody has stopped up has somebody done something you know how when you you've got a good heart and you help people,
