Hey, everybody. I'm excited to be recording the second episode of the All Things Fishing

podcast this week. I'm excited to say that there is no construction in the background,

just a bit of rain, which you probably won't be able to hear. This week, I just wanted to talk

about my favorite types of baits. I'll be talking about my favorite bait, where you can find

the baits, and just all different types of

bait. So my favorite type of baits is crickets. By far, crickets. I've caught so many fish

on crickets. A lot of fish on crickets. The trouble with crickets is that you need to

make sure you hook them in the right spot. I know this sounds pretty bad, but you need to make sure you hook them through the wings and the body

or else it will just come right off the hook.

What I figured out with crickets is that they're not good at all for fishing when, like in a lake that you off the bank

that you have to cast pretty far to get it into a deep part for fish.

They're not very good for that unless you have dried crickets that will not come off the hook,

but live crickets, they will come off the hook.

I got so many fish on those, though.

I just learned to hook them in the right spots.

Um, yeah.

My next favorite type of bait is definitely cheese,

100% cheese. It's awesome. I've used cheese a bunch of times. It's really good bait for catfish.

Catfish, I've learned especially like bait that people eat as like food, that people use for food. They really like that stuff. I've used hot dogs for catfish. It works really well.

Anyway, catfish really like them. I've, it doesn't come off so much.
