0:00.0 | Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. It's time for you and it's time for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. |
0:12.0 | Our minds, the way we think, the way that we believe about life and about the world, has to be adjusted to fit the plan that Jesus has for us. |
0:21.0 | If we're going to have any success in this day, let's just focus on today. |
0:26.0 | It's the day we've been given. It's the day we have to live. Let's go. Let's go into it. |
0:31.0 | First off, I want to invite you to reach out to me. I love hearing from people and knowing how I can pray from you and knowing a little bit of what Jesus has been doing in your life. |
0:40.0 | This past week, I've received emails from people like Sandy and Pam and Mark, people who have reached out and told me a little bit of their story. |
0:48.0 | I would love to hear your story and learn how I can pray for you. Please reach out, carry C-A-R-E-Y at carrygreen.com. |
0:57.0 | Okay, we are back in Acts chapter 26 and the Apostle Paul has been making his case before King Agrippa and the Roman leader Festus. |
1:09.0 | After the Jewish people have made accusations against him and he's just explained his side of the story to them. |

1:23.0 | And as he was saying these things in his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, |
1:30.0 | Paul, you are out of your mind. Your great learning is driving you out of your mind. But Paul said, |
1:37.0 | I am not out of my mind most excellent Festus, but I'm speaking true and rational words. For the King Agrippa knows about these things. |
1:47.0 | And to him I speak boldly, for I'm persuaded that none of these things has escaped his notice. For this has not been done in a corner. |
1:56.0 | King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe. And Agrippa said to Paul, |
2:02.0 | in a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian? And Paul said, where the shorter long, |
2:09.0 | I would to God that not only you but also all who hear me this day might become such as I am, except for these chains. |
2:17.0 | Then the King arose and the governor and Bernice and those who were sitting with him. |
2:23.0 | And when they had withdrawn, they said to one another, this man is doing nothing to deserve death or imprisonment. |
2:29.0 | And Agrippa said to Festus, this man could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar. |
2:36.0 | Now I'm going to pause right there and leave this kind of on a cliffhanger because I want us to think about what these two leaders just said. |
2:45.0 | Paul's entire situation seems to just be a snowball of deeper and deeper trouble for him. |
