All right, today we are continuing the story of the Apostle Paul as he is making his defense

in the Roman court system.

In fact, right now, he's standing before the Jewish king Agrippa and the Roman prefector

governor of the region named Festus, and we are in Acts chapter 26, beginning in verse

number 12.

Now Paul has just laid out his past how he was so zealous as a Jew for the Jewish faith

and was actually persecuting believers in Jesus Christ.

And he's about to tell what happened in his life in verse number 12.

He says, in this connection, I journeyed to Damascus with the authority and commission

of the chief priests.
