Welcome back to Sochiology 101.

And since everyone else is talking about it, we might as well talk about it too.

Yes, we've all heard and seen the news recently about the assassination attempt on the former

President Donald Trump.

And theology has come to the forefront on social media, if you haven't noticed.

Because of this event, there's a lot of people becoming theologians really quickly,

if you haven't noticed, and claiming they have

got the answers as to how God's providence sovereignty works within time and space when it

comes to saving Donald Trump's life.

And I thought, and I put off discussing this, because you guys know, I don't like getting

into politics.

It's one of my least favorite things to talk about these days.

But I couldn't help but get involved after seeing so many of these social media posts.

It's kind of like when people make posts about science who aren't scientists or post about, you know,

any kind of field out there that requires a lot of study. And a lot of people become, you know,

armchair theologians and begin to state things that have absolutely nothing to do with what

the Bible actually teaches. And for those of us who are theologians, who have spent our life

studying these things, it gets a little frustrating, and a lot of theologians online are

calling out these armchair theologians for really bad theology. Before we dive into this,
