Hello and welcome to Sochiology 101, a very spontaneous session that we're having tonight because I was invited by Braxton Hunter.

Dr. Braxton Hunter is the president of Trinity Seminary, where I am a professor.

And he invited me to come on tonight to have a conversation with Richard of a redeemed Zoomer. In fact, Richard has over 400,000 subscribers on his channel. He talks about a host of different topics as a

Presbyterian. And watching him was kind of interesting to me, kind of listening to some of his

stuff, especially with regard to Calvinism, because it was almost like a time warp for me because

he looks a lot like I did and he sounds a lot like I did when I was in my 20s. And no offense to him

if he finds that offensive, it's not meant to be. He's a he's a 20s. He looks 20 something. Maybe

he's 30 something. I don't know. But he looks like me when I was in my 20s.

And he sounds a lot like me when I was in my 20s. And so it's kind of an interesting thing to

hear him. And the video you see there on the screen is from a redeemed zoomer from Richard.

And it's about a 10-minute video. So it's a pretty short video, and we've got to speed it up a little bit because I have about an hour here, a little less than an hour before I need to log off and jump on to Trinity Radio with Braxton and have this discussion with Richard.

And I wanted you guys to have a little bit of introduction to him in case you were not familiar with Redeem Zumer's website and what he does or his content on YouTube. This kind of gives you a

perspective of where he comes from. I listened to his discussion with Trent Horn, who was a

Catholic, and was very impressed by how well he handled himself in conversation with Trent.

A very cordial brother, very easy to talk to it, sounds like to me.

Braxton was right in his recommendation, hey, you'll like this guy.

He'll be a good person to engage with this and not be overly contentious or mean about

things, but just he'll disagree.

And he knows why he knows his stuff. But he will be able to kind of articulate his views very

well as a Presbyterian. And so I'm like, yeah, that's the kind of stuff I love. As a theology

geek, when I get together with friends and others, I love having a good

Calvinist brother there that knows what they're talking about and is, it doesn't take himself so
