here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard.

It is not a fun day when it comes to Mississippi State Baseball.

It's like our worst fears are kind of being realized in front of us.

But, you know, we're going to talk about it. We're going to break it down. We're going to talk about where we go from here. You know, we don't run from the truth here in the Boneyard. You know, I didn't expect us to win the series. I thought maybe we'd get a game. We didn't get any. We got swept for the third time this year. That's the time since 2015 that's happened but you know and again that was an awful year too sometimes

we forget that we get caught up in recency bias and say it's never been that bad

well it has been but it's even worse this year because of the fact that we won the

NFL championship last year and now we're not

even going to make our conference tournament bar and some incredible turn of events.

It is what it is.

It's as simple as that.

It is what it is.

There is some joy in star.

Let's congratulate the Mississippi State sophomore team and coach Sam Ricketts and her staff. Tyler Brad and the whole

crew over there doing a great job. Moving this thing forward,

Mississippi State, according to the release, will head back to the NCAA tournament

for its fifth consecutive time. Bulldogs are 33 and 24, finished 10 and 14 in the

league. They will be in the Talleyhassee Regional as the number two seed.

We've never won an NCAA regional in softball. It's going to be tough to do it this year.

Florida State, the number two overall seed. And it's not to say we can't do it. We play in the most competitive league at all of

college softball. You never know. Ask anybody. First opponent will be South Florida. That'll be 5 p.m.
