College baseball season regular season is nearly over. We'll preview the Tennessee series

later this week. That's going to be a real challenge from Mississippi State as you guys are well aware.

Bulldogs really have their backs against the

wall, and there's still a possibility they could make Hoover, but those chances are pretty

dire when you consider the quality of competition headed to duty Nobel field this weekend.

Not in any way to suggest that Mississippi State's not capable of winning the series. I mean,

Kentucky won two out of three just a

couple weekends ago in Lexington. But this is a Tennessee team that's playing exceptionally well.

Before we move into pre to recap in the North Alabama game, let's look at some basketball news.

You know, you guys, those of you that are jeans page.com subscribers, you're not really surprised

about some of the

recent developments. Our Paul Jones has done an excellent job, kind of keeping people abreast of what's

going on. And Paul's been hinting for a few weeks that he felt that Shaquille Moore and

DJ Jeffries would eventually remove their name from the NCAA transfer portal.

Well, that's happened.

That's happened.

She killed it several days ago, and then DJ Jeffries on Monday,

announced that he would be returning.

And so taking a quick look at maybe last year's roster,

some of the scholarship guys that you're somewhat familiar with,

Rocket Watts not returning.
