Good morning. Welcome, welcome.

As we kind of like,

we're in Kajrina Billy Collins, this poet. kind of

you, like Kanderina Billy Collins, this poet, some of you might be familiar with him.

He was the poet laureate, I think, from 2001 to 2003. And he writes in a way that seems like very accessible and often with a little bit of

whimsy in it and talks about some like the ordinary experiences. And if I remember correctly, this

poem was published in 2016, so relatively not so long ago, this poem of, it's called

In The Moment by Billy Collins.

Maybe I'll say before I read the poem again,

something that I love about this poem.

There's so many fun things here.

But one is he's talking about, like, oh,

he's just not mindful, he's just not being present.

And yet, he's giving us details minute details about his day he actually was

present he actually was being mindful.

But he has this idea about what mindfulness is supposed to look like,

what the experience is supposed to be,

and because maybe it's not matching his expectations he's

like just kind of like oh I'm not mindful or maybe he's using poetic license and saying he's not mindful but then demonstrating that he's,

I don't know, it's kind of fun for me though to, he's like protesting, but he's not what happens in part of a day.
