the happiest place on earth.

Florida Governor Ryan DeSantis announced a new legislation this week that attempts to

try to force greater oversight over Disney World and Disney in Florida.

It is of course the largest employer in the Central part of the state.

This is just the latest in a series of exchanges that have been traded between the amusement

parts board and the Republican governor to fall out the end when the company publicly

took issue with Florida's education bill from a few years ago which critics ended up

referring to as they quote don't say gay bill about when to talk about things like same

sex marriage in education settings and of course it is spiral from there in late February

to Santa Sunday.

A law that was just targeting Disney to strip Disney of what was long been a self governing

status that the state of Florida gave them decades ago.

And before they lost the power Disney's hand picked board decided to essentially outmaneuver

what the state was attempting to do before the state took over and that is why Governor

DeSantis is so upset and this conflict with Disney is plenary the party a bit.

DeSantis has been catching flat from potential rivals like Chris Christie and Mike Pence

who are condemning his decision to essentially use the powers of government to target business

which is normally a conservative talking point attacking liberals and it may end up turning

into a bit of a more of a hurdle for DeSantis than he might think even though he thinks there

is some culture war aspects to this that benefit him.
