Welcome back. So what is it with these former slave states that they're all about basically

trashing poor people? Continuously. I had 12 states, Republican control states, I believe they're all

former slave states, might be 11, but I'm pretty sure it's 12. I have refused to expand Medicaid

for working poor people. Now, I get it that an awful lot of this has to do with race that, you know,

they think that this is a way of punishing poor black people or something like that.

And in fact, next week, in fact, next Monday, I think probably the first hour, next Monday,

when I do an extended rant about what I learned when I was researching my new book on healthcare,

which is just mind-blowing stuff. But, you know, what is it with these, now you've got

Rhonda Santas down in Florida, denying food to hungry children. The headline by John Wright

over a story, cruel Rhonda Santas blasted for quote, plain politics with hungry children.

This is amazing. I mean, the family's first coronavirus response act was passed,

while Donald Trump was president, the guy that Rhonda Santas is trying to beat for the Republican

primary next time around. This was Trump's thing and it allocated money, in this case, in the case

of Florida, $820 million. For this year, I mean, it allocated it for every year, but this year,

it would have been $820 million in aid to families with children, low-income families with children,
