Dennis Rodman is a basketball star turned reality star, turned self-styled international diplomat. The man has been to North Korea like eight times over the

last eight years.

And I got a chance to interview Dennis on stage at Politicon, a political festival where lots of politicians and political thinkers come together every year.

But Dennis is ambivalent about talking politics. I ask him

about Trump, who he endorsed and Kim Jong-un, who he calls a friend. And Rodman

says, hey, I don't get into politics.

It's hard to talk Trump and Kim without getting into politics.

They are inherently political.

But here we are.

Dennis cries at one part of the interview

when talking about the American hostage auto warm beer,

who Dennis says he helped rescue,

a man who died shortly after getting back to America.

Dennis feels blamed for his death and he cried at the mere thought of the situation.

It was real, it was heavy and we had to deal with that. We talked at Politicon in LA in front of a few

hundred people who heartily booed me when I said that Trump is obviously racist. Strange times y'all. It's

Dennis Rodman on Torrey show. Since this is political, we usually talk about politics and talk about your politics where you are you

endorsed Trump during the campaign well we where are you on Trump now I've always

told people that me Trump trust, we're friends.

We don't talk about politics, we don't talk about anything but it's by life, pretty much by life.

But I leave that to him and his government and his people in the way else.
