Hello, and welcome to another edition of the Byron New York Show, the no-chit-chat podcast.

We'd like to get right into it and what we're going to get into today is the Democrats

January 6th Committee Problem.

It's a political problem.

Now, I'm going to start off with something that a Republican strategist told me not too

long ago, talking about issues in the midterms, and he said, people care about getting pissed

off every time they buy a tank of gas.

So he was referring, obviously, to the importance of inflation as an issue in the upcoming midterm

elections.

And then he continued, he said, you know what they don't care about?

January 6th.

Now, this person has done a lot of polling, focus groups, research, just campaigning

in a number of states and a number of elections, and just cannot find much interest in January

6th among voters out there, as far as the midterm elections are concerned.

And when he did that, we weren't talking about the January 6th Committee, but when he did

that, he really kind of succinctly pointed out the political problem that is facing House

Democrats.

They created a committee to investigate the January 6th Capitol riot in part, so they could

use it as an issue in the midterms.

So now the question is, what if it doesn't work?

Now, polls support what the Republican strategist said.

Americans just don't have a lot of interest in January 6th as a midterm issue.
