Welcome to another episode of Surviving the Survivor,

the podcast that promises to bring you the very best guests in all of true crime.

And tonight will be no exception to the rule.

It is probably the most talked about case in America right now.

And it's unusual because there's no cameras allowed in there, no live tweeting, none of that.

But we were talking about the Delphi

murder trial out of Delphi, Indiana. For those who are not that familiar with it, Richard Allen

is the defendant in this case. He's accused in the 2017 murders of 13-year-old Abby Williams

and 14-year-old Liberty Libby German.

They were found, it's hard to hear,

but with their throat slit after going on a walk,

in a kind of a hiking trail area.

Now this trial began October 18th.

Today is November 7th, three weeks in or so.

It's 17 days of testimony, and I was wrong over the course of four weeks.

I think we're into the fourth week here.

Richard Allen is charged with first degree murder, conspiracy, and solicitation in connection with the deaths

of the two young girls.
