What's up, SDS Nation, and welcome to a second consecutive episode of Surviving the Survivor,

the podcast that promises to bring you the very best guests in all of

true crime. And it has been a day and a half today. We were supposed to have Susan Hendrix on,

former CNN anchor. She wrote a book entitled Down the Hill, but she has some sort of breaking news

related to the case that she is involved in and called me literally about three minutes ago

apologizing profusely. So she just wanted you to know that, and that's the nature of the news

business. So i totally understand

and we'll get her on um maybe after closings uh which i didn't realize we're going to be tomorrow

until today so uh i don't know that anybody did but we uh are going to get susan back on but i am

happy to uh introduce right now,

Lauren Matthias, most of you do know her. She's worked as a reporter and anchor for ABC, NBC Fox News

in East Idaho, Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City. She's now the co-host, along with her husband

of Hidden True Crime, one of the better True Crime podcasts out there.
