Today on the Grave Talks, delivering messages, a conversation with Melissa Clevverger.

From the age of five, Melissa Clevverger could hear and see spirits on the other side.

These spirits didn't always get permission to be heard and seen though.

Making some of these encounters quite terrifying to a young girl.

As she grew older, her abilities would tamper into simply sound,

what the messages would become more meaningful.

She'd then go on a journey attempting to find answers, communicate with deceased loved ones,

and try to better understand the world of the supernatural.

So, as I grew up in a small town in Kansas, and as far back as I know,

I would see ghosts. They would walk around my house.

They didn't always interact with me, but they were everywhere.

I also could hear them, so I would be told answers to things or I'd be told about people

by a spirit or the honest, I don't know exactly.

I pretty much had that all of my life. I didn't know that that was weird.

I didn't talk about it. I didn't really tell people, but it was everywhere.

When I got to about my leader, Teenager News, I got to where I wasn't seeing the ghosts,

but I could still hear them.

And that is where I ended up joining a ghost hunting team, as you can see.

Perinormal is all that I knew. It's such a big part of my life.

It's important to me. I've lost a lot of people, so just the validation that they are still here

and they can still be with us, I was starting to miss that.

So I joined the Perinormal team, so basically for that reason, I needed to fill that void of still having the experiences.
