That wasn't a good invitation.

But yeah, I was off in Buenos Aires for a few weeks, and I thought I'd get all my dental work done.

And unfortunately, well, let's put it this way.

What you don't want to have happen, Gene, is get an implant and then have it go bad or have it be rejected by your jawbone.

You don't want that to happen, especially when they put the second one in, and that one also doesn't work, and they have to pull that second one out. When they put

in an implant, the whole idea is that it shouldn't come out at all. And when they put in the second

one to replace the first one, and they put it in extra tight and extra deep to make sure it will

never, ever come out, having to actually remove it on purpose? Well, let's just

say that it was a whole new level of exquisite torturous pain, and leave it at that. I always

wonder whether dentists really enjoy watching their patients suffer. I don't think there are too many

things you can have done to your body that are as painful as dentistry.

It's right up there. And I've had a lifetime of, let's just say, less than optimum, dental experiences.
