Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, a new Jersey man is charged with the murder of his wife,

whose body was found in a partially burned car in Monroe Township.

The alleged murder occurred while the suspect was awaiting trial for allegedly abusing

the couple's newborn daughter.

Police in Birmingham, Alabama are searching for 29-year-old Peyton Lane Houston.

Houston was last seen on the night of Friday, December 22nd, leaving a lake view area bar

in the company of two men.

Finally, a Cape Coral Florida couple entered not guilty pleas to multiple charges, including

first-degree murder, stemming from the September death of their 18-month-old son.

NJ.com reports that 27-year-old John E. Jacobs was charged for allegedly murdering his wife

of one year, 22-year-old Selena Blackwell Jacobs.

Selena, a mother of two, was reported missing by her family last Tuesday.

They last saw her driving in a black Chevy Trailblazer with no front license plate and a temporary

back license plate, a vehicle which was registered to her husband.

Per the probable cause affidavit.

Next Wednesday, a friend of John Jacobs called into the Vineland Police Department.

He said that John Jacobs facetimed him at 5.30am and told him that he and his wife had a

fight and he ended up killing her.
