0:56.5	having me. And thank you also for writing this book. It is so needed. Why did you decide to write it?
1:04.5	Well, thank you. I also feel like it's needed in this respect. We are here in the Me Too era and all sorts of stories of sexual assault and sexual
1:17.1	harassment are coming to the fore.
1:20.0	People are feeling more willing to share their experiences and share their accounts.
1:26.4	And that's all for the good. And yet, as a society,
1:30.4	as a culture, we still have real problems with responding to those stories. Certainly as a legal
1:37.7	system, we still have problems responding to these stories. And so my hope in writing this book is that readers would be given
1:47.2	a new understanding of how in our own individual lives, we can make a difference and we can do
1:54.4	better by survivors. Are there any standards right now for credibility? Well, it's such an interesting question because we judge credibility all the time.
2:07.1	We judge it when we speak to our friends and family members.
2:11.1	And certain people have professional responsibilities that require them to judge credibility.
