Well, that was great, wasn't it?

Yet another weekend of deadlines being passed,

arrangements being ripped asunder and more extensions than a neighbour with a home equity loan.

We've heard it all now. Going the extra mile, entering the final stretch, we've come this far.

Progress is being made. Useful phone calls, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

What difference does it make if they extend the talks until tomorrow

or until the day after tomorrow or until next week or indeed until i don't know christmas

what do you think what about boxing day uh why it's at another deadline and have it for two

days after boxing day and then if things go well you can take it back a day and then you can

stop on the 27th, is it?

Or maybe you should go all the way to the 31st of December and have no deal then.

What on earth is going on?

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Boris Johnson continues to assure us that no deal is the most likely outcome, despite continuing the talks.

We're talking about Brexit, of course.

An EU President Ursula von der Leier says the two parties have a responsibility to keep on talking

and working towards a deal.

Well, why exactly?

Am I the only one that's a bit puzzled by all of this?

Can anyone tell me?

Surely any deal now is going to be either bad for us or bad for them.
