The week continues to become more and more ridiculous.

Yesterday afternoon, the government announced that London would move into Tier 3 later on tonight,

leaving thousands of restaurants and pubs bereft,

thousands of places where expensive food and drink has been stockpiled

for the Christmas season, thousands of places that employ many more thousands of people, thousands

of places that are the lifeblood of this country where thousands of people meet to talk,

to congregate and to enjoy themselves. Safely, my question this morning is this. What has Boris Johnson

got against these establishments? What has he got against

the great British habit of eating and drinking? And why does he have it in for thousands of people

who make their living out of serving other people food and drink? Once again, I say this.
