Summary

Here is the second set of the band's performance at the Forum in Inglewood California on June 4, 1977.

A long and fine set of music, luckily for us captured by a nice audience recording, results in one of the few Spring '77 shows that hasn't been commercially released. This show features quite a few 'big' numbers - Estimated>Eyes, Terrapin, Playin in the Band, Franklin's Tower.. The Playin' sandwich is really nicely done,, as is the transitions throughout the set.

I hope you enjoy this one, my advice is to turn it up!

0:07.8	This is a professor and so glad you could join me for this week's Dead Pod. We're going to bring
0:11.6	you the second set from the band's performance at the forum in Englewood, California, on June
0:16.3	the 4th, 1977. 77 shows that haven't been commercially released are rare. This one, of course, is an audience
0:24.3	recording, as you knew from last week, but it's a pretty darn good one. And this second set is a
0:31.1	killer. I think you're really going to enjoy it. Starts out with really smoking Samson and Delilah.
0:36.0	Then a ship of fools kind of misplaced perhaps.
0:38.3	Estimated into eyes is really well done. The eyes in this time of the band's history were, to my opinion, just about perfect.
0:46.5	They're very nice here. Goes into a short drums and in good loving. Then they get a terrapin station,
0:52.9	going into a playing in the band into Franklin's Tower.
0:56.0	Check out the wild.
0:57.0	They're really sweet.
0:58.0	I don't know how to describe it.
1:00.0	I'm going to, you know, use your own adjective here, but the transition between Terrapin and playing is really, and playing into Franklons.
1:08.0	Space follows, and Chinatow, not fade away, and they do a
1:12.2	wonderful sandwich with another playing in the band reprise here. Then one more Saturday night,
1:20.6	is the encore. Nice, long second set, and I hope you enjoyed as much as I did. I really enjoy
