I'm so glad he could pick us up this week.

June's flying by, but this week I've got a show.

It took place in June of 1977.

It's largely overlooked, mainly because only an audience recording exists.

But this is a damn fine audience recording.

I think you'll enjoy

this one. And the show itself is quite stellar and took place at a venue the Dead only played

out a few times before late 80s. The Forum in England, Wood, California. This took place on June the 4th,

1977. It was a Saturday. First set, quite long and well played. It starts out with

Promise Land, then Tennessee Jed, El Paso, and Dipeggio, Jack Straw, great, really done well,

friend of the devil, a lazy lightning into supplication. This one too is a highlight of this set.

Candyman, New Minglewood Blues, then a brown-eyed women, and they close the set with music

never stopped.

Jerry's on board all throughout this.

It's a typical high-energy, well-played 77 show.

I think it was largely overlooked, as I said, because only an audience exists.

But the recording gets better as it goes on,

and the second set is really going to blow you away next week.

So anyway, hope you enjoy this one.
