Hello and welcome the Dead Pod for Valentine's Day, February 14, this is a professor, so glad you

could tune in this week.

This week we're going to bring, I decided to bring you a show from a really rock,

rollicking good show, good Show, as it is.

From the Kaiser Convention Center, Oakland, California,

one of those Marty Gros shows took place back in February 11,

1986, and Neville Brothers Band opened

and they join in on set two.

This week we'll be listening to the first set which in some people's opinion is the stronger

the two.

Y'all let you make that decision for yourself after you hear next week's show.

This one starts out with an unusual opener. It's a really fine China Cat rider.

A real kind of a short seg between the two, but still a great fine way to open the show and get the crowd

in the mood. Then we have a really nicely played new Minglewood Blues I

can't always say that but I think this one's quite hot. Then one of Jerry's Fun Songs, Dupree's Diamond Blues,

Uncle goes into Mexicali Blues and a real nice bird song.

An excellent music never stops,

and then they close set one with another good time tune,

might as well. So they get the crowd in the mood

for what's going to be a fun kind of bluesy evening I think everybody has a great

time at this show and I hope you have a good time listening to it as we roll into the mid-middle to end of February,

Marty Graz coming up, Fat Tuesday and everything, and I thought it was a good time to bring one of these out.
