Hello and welcome the Dead Pod for the week of December 14th 2018. This is a professor, so glad you could pick us up this week.

This week we're going to bring you a fine second set from the band's performance on December 4th 1990, Oakland, Alameda, County, Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California.

It starts out with a real nice eyes of the world.

Bruce adds some real nice color here.

Goes into a saint of circumstance, and then follows that with a great ship of

fools Jerry's vocals are extremely strong here I think you'll enjoy

him trucking follows and this is where Jerry really kicks the band into overdrive

after the initial lyrics and then they go into a nice

smokestack lightning into drums and space come out into another one that's quite nicely

a nice playing especially between Jerry Vincent Phil in this segment. There is no

Phil bomb here on this other one but still nevertheless quite a nice tune and

excellent jamming goes into a nice war fret they close the second set with

a Bobby singing turn on your lovelight I supposedly had I think Huey Lewis on this

but you don't really hear him on this tape.

The encore is uh... it's all over now baby blue. Jerry has his first vocal flub of the

evening believe it or not on this tune. Nevertheless it won't bother your enjoyment of the

song. It's a fine set reflects the power of the band during this period of their

history. I think they were running on all cylinders. Hope you enjoy it. I want to
