Howdy! I figured it was about time to get back in the saddle and get another Deadpod out to my wonderful audience..

First off thanks for your kind get well wishes! They all have meant so much..forgive me for not answering each of them, but I'm having some serious trouble typing with alot of numbness in my right hand since my operation..

This week I thought it appropriate to listen to a fine show from the great state of North Carolina, I could only wish that I could help the folks there who have been ravaged by the terrible storms..

This is a well played show from the fall of '89.. a nice Foolish Heart starts things, and frankly I enjoyed every song in this first set. The highlight might be 'Bird Song' where Jerry uses a number of ineresting MIDI effects...

The Johnny B Goode encore is also a nice touch..

0:08.0	First off, a big thank you to all of you who sent me in Get Well Wishes and kind thoughts while I've been away with my operation

0:19.5	Unfortunately, I'm not really able to answer all of you because I've got quite a bit of numbness in my right hand.
0:25.4	It's kind of limiting my typing ability, but we're getting there.

0:31.9	This week I decided to be a good idea to bring you a
0:37.9	show from the area that's, well close to the area that's been so hardest hit by these terrible hurricanes.
0:44.4	This one comes to us from Charlotte Coliseum, Charlotte, North Carolina.
0:48.3	October 22, 1989, it was a Sunday show, which is always a good omen.
0:54.0	We're set one this week, set two next week, starts out with foolish art.
0:58.0	New Mingwood Blues follows and it's quite a nice version.
1:01.0	Mississippi Half Step, Queen Jane approximately, a great ramble on rows,
1:05.1	ten beat it on down the line, a beautiful bird song and Jerry does a lot of
1:09.3	MIDI explorations on the end of this one that I think are quite interesting.
1:13.2	And then they do a Johnny Be Good encore, which is kind of refreshing to have in that place instead of promised land.
1:19.5	Anyway, it's a nice recording and I hope you enjoy it.
