0:04.6	podcast. Well, here we go. We're starting the brand new, not the brand new. We're starting
0:17.1	the New Testament today. I know it's an exciting day for a lot of people. A lot of people

1:16.8	what, I thought we were starting in Matthew. We are using a chronological-ish reading plan. And so when
1:23.7	we look at the first chapter of Luke and we look at the first chapter of John,
1:28.1	it introduces us to John the Baptist, which is where we kind of finished off in the Old
1:33.4	Testament in the book of Malachi. It was introducing John the Baptist, because he's the one
1:37.9	who is going to prepare the way for Jesus. So that's where the focus is going to be today. But
1:42.6	before we get into it, we're going to go ahead and pray because we always want to prepare our hearts before we jump into God's words.
1:47.7	So Heavenly Father, we are so, so grateful and excited for this day. We are excited, Lord, to see what you are going to do, how you're going to speak, the way that you're going to move through the pages of these chapters.
