Day 273 of Hard Dive 365. I'm your Bible study friend Kanoi. Welcome to the Heart Dive podcast.

It's an exciting day as we are closing up the final book, final chapters of the Old Testament.

We begin the New Testament tomorrow. But before we get started, please don't fast forward if you do tend to fast forward through this part, because I do have one really important announcement to make, and this is for everyone to be able to hear. You know, we talk a lot about wanting to be the hands and feet of Jesus, right? Well, sometimes we don't know how we can do that in practical ways. And so one of the things that Holly has

done on our website, heartdive.org, and this is for those who may have been affected by Hurricane

Helene, she has created a heartbeat of relief directory. And so her heart behind this was to be

able to connect locally those who want to help with those who need help.

So if you are someone who is able to open up your home, able to help out in very practical ways,

we've already got someone who is taking in animals and families, I believe. And so we are just giving

you a spot to be able to put your name out there and say, hey, you know what, if you need help, we are here, this is where we are. And that way we are able to connect people locally in the areas that they're in. And so it's just a small way that we can use our platform to help rebuild the walls, to rebuild our community. And we're trying to do this in a way that there's no red

tape. You know, it's just giving that direct access to people who want to help out. Sometimes it's

hard to get that. Whether this is immediate assistance or long-term relief, if you are willing to

uplift people in any way, even if you're just able to provide essential supplies, such as food and

water and medical aid to anyone, the Lord is prompting your heart to do that. We've given you a spot to be able to do it. So I've got the link in the description box. If you are in need, make sure to check out that directory. And hopefully there's someone in your area who is able to help you out. A big thank you to Holly for creating that. That was such a beautiful thing that God put on her heart to do. And I believe that that is part of the heart of what we will be doing in the future here at Heart Dive. Like we want to be boots on the ground. You know, we got grassroots efforts going on here. And I just thank you for your heart. Everybody who has been here from the beginning, who just jumped in recently in the middle. I believe

that God has called you here because you have that same kind of heart. So we love you. I just love this

family so much. What a great day to be able to do this, to launch that. And so with this book, with the

book of Malachi, what is happening here? We are setting the stage for the coming of the Messiah. And we will be reading from the ESV by Crossway Translation.
