Wow, I'm so glad to be in church today.

Aren't you glad to be in church today?

Amazing.

I love that we are going to be planting an axe for a few weeks

together so it gives everybody a chance to catch up.

So if you didn't know and you just arrived,

we're going to be journeying through the book of Acts

under the header, Powerful.

And the idea, so everybody's on the same page,

is that as a result of where we're going together,

that all of us will move from a powerless life

to a powerful life, that's the hope.

So whatever it is that you're feeling,

I don't have the energy, the power, the resource

to do X, Y, or Z or to become whatever it is

that you're wanting to become.

The hope of this series is that somewhere along the way,

you'll realize that there is a power supply for you in life

to be all that God has created you, to be.

And the hope of God is that your life will not be powerless,

but that your life will be powerful.

I think when we say that, somebody's always looking at the guy
