| 0:30.0 | In fact, you're invited to live your life at 80%. |
| 0:38.0 | You might have flinched when I said that. |
| 0:42.0 | You might be thinking, oh no, I only live my life at 100%. |
| 0:49.0 | And actually, I like to give 110% of my time, my energy. |
| 0:56.0 | Whatever I do, I show up as my past. |
| 1:00.0 | Well, when I lived in Asia, when I lived and studied in Japan in particular, |
| 1:08.0 | I was introduced to this concept where you live your life at 80%. |
| 1:16.0 | And you allow that extra 20% to be a buffer |
| 1:23.0 | to allow you to remain in the present moment, to allow life to simply happen. |
| 1:31.0 | So, despite your best late plans, if things turn out to be a flop, |
| 1:38.0 | you allow that people, the weather, the world, events around you are not always within your control. |
| 1:48.0 | So, you learn to go with a flow a little more. |
| 1:51.0 | You show up as your best, but you allow a little grace for yourself and others. |
| 1:58.0 | Now, you may be familiar with this concept in business, especially as the Pareto Principle. |
| 2:07.0 | This states that for many outcomes, it is estimated roughly 80% of the consequences |
| 2:17.0 | come from about 20% of the causes. |
