Hello, it's Antrice and welcome to this week's episode of the savvy painter

podcast so by the time you hear this I will be in California and I can't tell you how excited I am. This week I'm getting a little bit ahead on the podcast making sure everything hopefully goes smoothly while I'm in route and preparing for my

shell. Now that it's all taken care of I am packing all the paintings up and

getting ready to hit the road. We are shutting down the house and leaving down. So I am really

excited about this week's episode. Just imagine this. You're visiting a friend in another country. Maybe you don't speak the

language so well. And he says, hey, I want you to meet someone. So you go to a

house and as you walk through the garden you have this vague sense that

you recognize things just like in one of those dreams where you are somewhere

you've never been before and yet you recognize everything.

A door opens and you are face to face with Antonio Lopez Garcia.

That is what happened to my guest this week.

Not only that, but years later, David Kaysen had the opportunity to return to paint a portrait of Antonio Garcia.

I have to say that I feel pretty lucky to be able to have these conversations with some

phenomenal artists, but I don't know if I would be able to hold it together like David did.

That is amazing.
