It's happening everybody. Welcome into Brown's Film Breakdown. I am lucky enough to be joined by Brad Ward. It's been a minute since Brad and I have talked. It is just rhythmic at the OBR and with where we are and time doesn't always present itself. But we have found a pathway to reconnect. And I'm happy to be here with Brad. And I ask, how are you doing, buddy? I'm doing great, Jake. Thank you for having me. I'm thrilled to speak with you. It's been a minute. It's been a minute, man. So we did all of our check-ins and health checks and all of that ahead of time, so you guys don't have to listen to that, to that, you know, laborious part of the conversation. But I do think that as we spend our time collectively

analyzing this team and we haven't gotten together to really share our opinions

about things in a three and nine season a topic has come up that I really want to

cover I'm gonna try to do so pretty in depth and try to tie some film into this

and give you guys an idea of why it's

getting like this. But I think an underdiscust element of this football team this year, Brad,

is a thing that we thought might alleviate itself with a different approach, some different

offensive minds in the building, but it has been a carryover of a trend that is rather jarring.

And that's the run game production and efficiency is next to gone.

And when you think about Kevin Stefansky's arrival in Cleveland, well, what did they

like about him?

Why did they hire him?

And it was, this guy is operating a system that's really

hard to defend from a run defense perspective while also honoring past game benefits off of it.

And that's, you know, the Kubiak-Shanahan staple stuff here is no secret. It's been around long

and it's been a decade now

dating back to that 14 Redskins team there it started to really gain steam but you know when

you sort of look at it from the lens of okay Kevin was hired because of this ability to do these

productive things and tie run to pass all of these it is just slowly faded away and that's something that i think is more concerning than dishan watson he'll come and go that situation will will alleviate itself in some way she performed the bigger picture i am worried about

brad is kevin stefansky's next 10 15 20 years he's young right he's yes 42 he's got he's an infant

in football terms and i've been talking about this as far as evaluating him how does kevin go you know you're you're you're you're you're you're judging these guys by
