That's a new title. Yes, it is. New business cards and new sign on the door. The Graduate

there's a new master's program in education here at Hillsdale College. We want to talk specifically

about what that means for the college and what it means for students. First, though, for people

who are not in higher education, what do we even mean when we say it's a master's program? What does that

look like? What does it mean? Yeah, so you know, Hillsdale College has been known as an

undergraduate institution for a very long time and we've and and we think we're pretty good at

doing that kind of work. And and so Hillsdale expanded graduate programs, primarily through the statesmanship program

first, about a decade ago, and then, you know, the politics program in Washington, D.C. And so

this is the third graduate program here at Hillsdale College. And so a graduate program is a program

for graduates. So it's primarily targeted for people who have completed an undergraduate experience.

And a typical undergraduate experience is four years where students are asked to study a wide variety of subjects and to get this kind of broad liberal education in the humanities, in the sciences, in the social sciences.
