I'm currently in Silverton, Colorado, trying to acclimatize to altitude and get my butt in shape for this legendary,

beautiful and brutal run in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado.

For those who have been at Hard Rock as a runner, volunteer,

crew member, PACER, or simply as a fan and spectator, you know that it is a very special event

with a unique energy. And much of that energy is a reflection of the run director, Mr. Dale
