Faith is what we are called to set an example in for the believers, speech, conduct, love, and faith.

As we set an example in faith, it means that we must be ruthless towards our own sin, including the sin of fear.

And this is why we tolerate fear, or I should be able to be. towards our own sin, including the sin of fear.

And this is why we tolerate fear.

Or I should better say, this is how we often seek

to justify the sin of fear.

We place fear under the thin veil of wisdom.

See, both fear and wisdom are future-oriented, where it's something like despair.

It could be that you are despairing even of life because you see no light at the end of the tunnel.

You're looking toward the future and say that there's no hope to be found.

But very often things like depression, things like despair, it's this overwhelming dissatisfaction with the present.

But anxiety is always oriented toward the future.
