God bless. All right, so here's my take on the new Avatar movie. Pantheism, check,

cultish environmentalism, check. Anti-capitalism, check. Demonizing of Western colonization,

check. And yet, even though I realize it's cool to say the movie is lame,

here's why Christians and conservatives shouldn't dismiss it so quickly. See, despite all the wickedness

of Hollywood, the movie still glorifies marriage, children, adoption, and fatherhood. Yes, you heard me correctly, even fatherhood, regardless of what

the director may have said about toxic masculinity. See, because if you want a movie to actually be

good, it has to mirror God's good design. Now, all that said, the Sky people are clearly meant to represent Western civilization's

terrible colonization of the peaceful native peoples and lands in the new world. But in order to

contrast the evils of the Sky people, the film is forced to paint a picture of truth, beauty, and

goodness within the culture of the native

avatar people. So from the outset of the film, the avatar are depicted as happy. And how is this

happiness achieved? Well, the line is happiness is simple. It comes by traditional family structure

and values. In love, a man commits to one woman for life,

their love is fruitful and produces four children. The children present certain challenges,

one younger brother in particular, but they are received by their parents as blessings rather than
