Summary
And lo, the people did wander. For they had entered the "Desert of Jo" — a dry and barren land where the WiFi signal is strong, but the romantic prospects are weak. And the WEIRDO tribe cried out, “Why have you led us here? We had matches on the apps! We had filtered selfies! We had hope!”
Thus begins this Rizzuto Show comedy podcast pilgrimage.
In this episode, Rizz and the gang gather around the digital campfire to speak of the great Sextinction — the prophecy that fewer and fewer are coupling, and many are choosing the glowing rectangle over real human touch. The elders speak of artificial companions fashioned in silicone and delivered in wooden crates like cursed relics. Candles are lit. Steely Dan echoes across the dunes. Shame follows shortly after.
Rafe testifies with the Gospel of the Message in a Bottle — a tale of youthful love, a rival named Nate Dogg, and a father dispensing driveway wisdom like a reluctant desert prophet. There are moon rocks stolen in the name of passion. There are tunnels dug beneath houses like forbidden passageways to temptation. There is a tiny French woman who ascends into the heavens in a helicopter to deliver her imprisoned beloved from captivity.
And still, the people wander.
We debate whether any maiden may enter the tavern of Helen’s and receive drink and favor without coin. We question the power of AI idols. We speak of fake IDs bearing the face of Benjamin Franklin. We honor Michael McDonald as one might honor a saint of smooth vocals.
Through it all, the commandment remains: Be cool, my son. Do not ruin thy life chasing a booby through the sand.
So gather thy WEIRDO tribe. Press play. And walk with Rizz through tales of love, lust, chaos, and questionable decision-making.
