Good morning in the news this morning. The trial for Sean Crats, one of the men accused of

murdering a group of friends in Bucks County two years ago began Wednesday.

Prosecutors say 22-year-old Crats of Northeast Philadelphia helped his cousin, 22-year-old Cosmo DiNardo, kill three of four men back in 2017.

Bucks County prosecutors have alleged that DeNardo lured the four victim ages 19 to 22 to his family's

Solberry farm under the guise of making marijuana deals.

The victim's bodies were found after a five-day search.

Three of them were set a fire and placed in a 12-foot-deep oil tank that was converted

into a pig roaster.

Crats walked away with a plea deal

earlier, walked away from a plea deal earlier this year. Bucks County District Attorney,

Kate Kohler, said in her opening statements that she painted Crats as a cold-blooded killer

who was on a mission to kill Rob, Byrne, and Barry Bodies along with his cousin. Now,

Kohler told Jorrs that Crats killed one of the victims and helped while Donardo killed two others,

then helped clean and cover up the evidence.

Crats' attorney, Charles Peruto, painted a different picture, calling his client an idiot and slow with a tested IQ of 79.

Perudo told the jury that his client is not a killer, but rather too terrified and

lacking the intelligent wherewithal to do anything that would have stopped the lunatic

DeNardo. So when they're employing this, when they're giving an IQ assessment or mental

stability assessment, I've heard them use the word idiot in court. So is that an acceptable? It might be.
