Good morning in the news this morning.

Authority say a South Jersey woman admitted to drinking mixed

alcoholic beverages and driving around before a crash that killed a firefighter and injured several other first responders early Saturday morning,

according to the arrest affidavit. 63-year-old Jacqueline Walker of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey,

is facing vehicular homicide charges in connection with the crash that killed firefighter Thomas

Roids on the Schuylkill Expressway and Lower Marion.

Police say a Pennsylvania State Trooper and fire crews from Belmont Hills Fire Company and

Gladwin Fire Company responded to the DUI crash at about 315 in the westbound lanes of

the Schukel near Waverly Road.

Sometime after first responders arrived at the scene, authorities say Walker drove her Jeep

Grand Cherokee right up onto the right shoulder of the highway and crashed into Roids

to other firefighters and a state police trooper before colliding with the vehicles involved

in the initial crash.

And that initial crash was DUI as well.

Oh, my God.
