Good morning in the news this morning. A small plane carrying two people crashed into a utility vehicle driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike off ramp at about 2.35 in the afternoon on Wednesday. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, two people were on board the single engine, SESNA 180 when it crashed on the turnpike south of the Capitol City Airport. One of the the planes passengers was taken to the hospital by helicopter

and a second was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The extent of their injuries are not known at this time.

It is part of the investigation.

The truck driver was not injured.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are still being investigated

According to PennDOT, all entrances and exit ramps at the Harrisburg West interchange were closed for an extended period.
