Good morning. In the news this morning, Philadelphia police are investigating after a man shot and killed and alleged would-be robber on Tuesday night. It happened just before 7 o'clock on the 7,000 block of North 15th Street in the city's West Oak Lane neighborhood.

Police say a man in his 30s was shot three times in the back by a man he was allegedly trying to rob. The suspect was taken to Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

There was a female in a parked car nearby that police believe was with the robber.

Investigators are still looking for that female.

Police have taken the shooter into custody for questioning and recovered his weapon.

Residents of three different Delaware County communities met with SEPTA representatives Tuesday night to discuss a newly reopened rail line that has been the source of constant noise.

Ever since the newly renamed Wawa Line reopened for the first time in over 30 years to shuttle passengers through Delaware County, those who live in towns like Aston, Middletown, and Chester Heights say they haven't been able to find a moment of peace. I actually drove by there, not that long ago. I think it was right before they opened the line. And I was like, oh, a Wawa station. I didn't realize that was the- That's pretty cool. Formally, you know, changing the name of it. So it comes through 42 times a day,

resident says. She claims that the line starts running before 5 a.m. and often doesn't stop

until around midnight. SEPTA has already tried to address some concerns by no longer blowing

horns overnight to test trains for service, but they say they cannot completely eliminate

local residents. They also deal with sounds of compressors from idling trains and maintenance

and they can't. Except officials admit that they did not conduct any type of impact studies on this project.

We used to live near elevated tracks up on Long Island, Massapequa, and the trains would run past

midnight, you know, that you, they would, maybe because they were elevated, I guess that wasn't an issue.
