Good morning in the news this morning.

Police are searching for a motorcycle driving gunman who they say open fire on a minivan Monday afternoon along I-95 near the Columbus Boulevard exit ramps at 1.30 in the afternoon. A 911 caller reportedly told police that the driver of a sport bike-type motorcycle fired several rounds into his vehicle, then fled down the highway at high speeds.

Damn.

Yeah.

The shooting and subsequent investigation caused the entire northbound side of 95 to be closed for

a little over an hour as officers canvassed the grounds for spent shell casing.

I saw there was a collection of crimes around the country, Preston, and this is becoming the thing to do.

Dude, this for my, in my mind, this is almost like a western cowboy on a horse firing a handgun.

Right. So you have maximum maneuverability if you're on a motorcycle.

You can get out of there immediately.

You see people coming up on sidewalks, robbing people coming up from behind.

It's wild.

But you're right.

That horse correlation is very accurate.

I've seen a lot of footage over the years, like in South America and places in Asia,

where motorcycles and scooters are a little more common in high traffic areas, and they will use

that as a quick way to get in and out and commit a crime. The maneuverability makes it. Yeah. So, and you see what there's tons of footage now where this is becoming the thing. That's why I keep a two-by-four and I just swing it back and forth as I'm walking down the street. Just in case. deterrent. Yeah. A gold minivan with bullet holes peppered along the passenger's side was stopped on the Columbus

Boulevard exit ramp. The highway reopened a motorist in time for the evening rush. Police have not said
